Bonig asks that the money in “chiringuitos” be used for infrastructure
Elche (Alicante), Dec 28 (EFE) .- The president of the PP of the Comunitat, Isabel Bonig, has recommended to the head of the Consell, Ximo Puig, and to the vice president, Mónica Oltra, that “the 384 million that they have in chiringuitos de the Agency of Innovation and Antifraud or public television À Punt are destined to infrastructures “.
Bonig has indicated that “it is good that they claim Madrid, but that, within the 20,000 million budget of the Generalitat, they would do something sometime”.
The leader of the PPCV has made these statements during her visit to Elche, where she has met with members of the party in the Baix Vinalopó region, accompanied by the president of the popular Alicante, José Císcar, and the leader of this training in the municipality of Elche , Pablo Ruz.
According to Bonig, the Consell has 2,600 million euros more than the last regional government of the PP, “without changing the financing model, because the economy has improved, but in the budget of the Government there is not a single investment in new work for the province of Alicante and hardly any in all the Comunitat “.
“If there is money to open bars, increase salaries and advisors, and open a regional television, there is infrastructure, such as the train of the Coast in the part that is the Generalitat, but also for the modernization of irrigation, reuse of water or the elimination of barracks, “he assured.
In his opinion, Puig “lacks ambition for this land,” in allusion to the Alicante.
“The Valencian Community is not only València and the metropolitan area, there are also the provinces of Alicante and Castellón,” he said.
Faced with this, Bonig has assured that the Ministry of Development announced a few weeks ago the Railway Infrastructure Plan, which “gives deadlines and commits money”, in particular 1,436 million euros for the period between 2018-2022 and 2025 in the case of the train of the Coast, and for the province of Alicante they destine 263 million euros.
Of this last amount, he has ensured that 119 million will be allocated to two important works: the connection of the Alicante-Elche-Murcia commuter line with the Alicante airport and the AVE station in the hamlet of Matola.
“In front of a toast to the sun, we have realities,” said Bonig, referring to the head of the Consell.
He also indicated that this achievement “has not been by President Puig, who has not claimed this project once, but for the work of the PP, and specifically Elche and its president Pablo Ruz, before the mayor left of Elche “, the socialist Carlos González.
On the other hand, Bonig has denounced that the PSPV-PSOE and Compromís “have said no” to the train of the Coast in the part that is competition of the Generalitat and that corresponds to the section between Denia-Alicante, and has urged them to “get of agreement “in their respective consellerias so that the work is not delayed.
“The Government of Spain has committed itself to the part that belongs to its competence, such as the splitting of Cullera-Gandía and its variant towards Oliva”, but the Consell “in the part that corresponds to it destines zero euros”, according to the popular leader .
For his part, Císcar regretted that the Valencian Government has dismissed 260 amendments to the budgets related to the province of Alicante, for an amount of 180 million euros. EFE
